In 2017, I had the pleasure of interviewing Nigel Verdon for an episode of the BankNXT Fintech Podcast. My initial research took into account Nigel’s background, how he got started with Currencycloud, and how RailsBank came into being.

We have an enjoyable half-hour discussion about all sorts of things, such as the beginnings of RailsBank, how APIs are used, the benefits of APIs, and the status of London as a fintech hub. I also ask Nigel about his role as a mentor to other startups, particularly as ‘Startup in Residence’ at Startupbootcamp FinTech 2016, and about his extensive career history in finance that touches on Currencycloud, Evolution Consulting Group and others.

For the benefit of brevity, this is a short, low-quality snippet of the interview. If you want to hear the whole thing in glorious technicolour, drop me a line.

I can help you develop your own podcast, contact me here, or look me up on LinkedIn or Twitter.
