Background
The BankNXT podcast, 2016-2018, was designed to provide insight and thought leadership to people working in or around financial technology and financial services, otherwise know as fintech and finserv.
It was part of a larger project driven by Backbase, a company that provides digital banking solutions to financial institutions. This included a website called BankNXT, which already existed but struggled to reach its target audience.
Audience
As part of the resurgence of the BankNXT website, the podcast provided food for thought around industry disruption and entrepreneurship. It appealed to decision makers, fintech startups and banking professionals.
Notable guests across 31 episodes.
Episodes were recorded remotely and in-person, and was published nearly every week. Content was always repurposed for the BankNXT website. Many guests became notable names or brands in fintech, such as Tide, Atom Bank, Klarna, Wealthfront and Metromile.
